  I went there for a bike lock. Was serviced immediately and we had a good chat about the pros and cons of various bike locks. Heard a few stories about thieves so I was a little more streetwise after leaving the shop. I'd never considered that you could lift up a street sign cos a lot aren't concreted into the pavement, they're just placed in a hole! Prices were fair. I'm going back today to get a tube fixed so we'll see how that goes.

  I was totally ignored, the guy was on the phone about some "power bill" which he had been overcharged on, i waited 5 mins 10 mins nothing! not even a "i'll be with you soon" aknowledgement.I ended up walking out, I most certainly won't be returning to this store anytime soon.

  People write that the "prices are fair" -- maybe, because the guy uses cheap materials and doesn't know what the hell he is doing. Take it in for brake pad replacement; he replaces it with one-piece brake shoe instead of just changing the pad, and adjusts them so poorly even the tiniest attempt at braking squeals like a banshee. Greases the bike, and spreads it everywhere so that I have to clean all the rims because they're coated. The derailleurs are all out of whack and I've to adjust it all myself. I spent half the afternoon fixing his mistakes, and I took the bike in because I'm time poor.

  He puts the clamp on my bicycle, an aluminium double-butted frame, and clamps it so tight it warped the frame and has a massive dint in it. No fixing this.
